Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 06, 2026

Important Notice

Granny_Kate™ is a protective warning layer for Windows scam patterns. It can help detect and interrupt common fraud behavior, but no software can guarantee prevention of every scam, intrusion, user action, targeted manipulation, or compromise.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Granny_Kate™, including the Granny_Kate website, demo download, fake-threat demo page, payment flow, Windows application, license, support services, and related digital materials provided by XORD Systems LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

By accessing the website, downloading the demo, purchasing a license, or using Granny_Kate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website, demo, app, or related services.

2. The Product

Granny_Kate is a Windows scam-protection application designed to detect certain scam-like patterns and user-risk events, including fake support popups, suspicious links, dangerous downloads, remote-access tools, clipboard tricks, startup persistence, and suspicious scheduled tasks.

Granny_Kate is designed to provide warnings, visibility, and user-controlled responses. It is not a bank, law-enforcement agency, antivirus replacement, managed security service, financial advisor, elder-care service, emergency response service, or professional incident-response provider.

3. Demo App and Fake-Threat Page

The Granny_Kate demo is a fully functional Windows application. The fake-threat demo page is a harmless trigger page used to show how Granny_Kate reacts to scam-like behavior in real time.

The app is the demo. The fake-threat page is only a demonstration surface. It is not the product itself.

You agree to download Granny_Kate only from official XORD or Granny_Kate links and to avoid running files from untrusted mirrors, reposts, modified downloads, or unofficial sources.

4. Purchases, License, and Payments

Granny_Kate may be sold as a lifetime license or another license type described at checkout. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, a Granny_Kate lifetime license covers the Granny_Kate Windows protection app for one Windows PC.

Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment processors such as Stripe or PayPal. By making a purchase, you also agree to the terms and policies of the applicable payment processor.

Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. We may change pricing, packaging, features, or license terms for future purchases. Changes do not retroactively alter completed purchases unless required by law or explicitly stated.

5. Refund Policy

Granny_Kate includes a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee on lifetime license purchases unless otherwise stated at checkout.

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@xord.io from the email address used for purchase.
  2. Use subject line: Refund Request - Granny_Kate.
  3. Include your payment method: Stripe or PayPal.
  4. Include the approximate transaction date and purchase email.
  5. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.

We reserve the right to deny refund abuse, duplicate refund attempts, fraudulent claims, chargeback manipulation, or requests outside the stated refund period.

6. What Granny_Kate Cannot Guarantee

Granny_Kate is a protective warning layer, not a guarantee that every scam, intrusion, user decision, targeted manipulation, or compromise will be stopped.

Granny_Kate cannot protect a computer when the app is not running, has been closed, disabled, blocked, removed, prevented from monitoring the relevant activity, or installed only after a compromise has already occurred.

Granny_Kate may not detect threats that occurred before the app was launched, attacks that happen outside the surfaces it monitors, highly targeted personal manipulation, threats delivered through channels it does not inspect, or actions a user chooses to take after ignoring, disabling, bypassing, or overriding a warning.

Granny_Kate cannot guarantee protection against all malware, all fraud, all remote-access abuse, all social engineering, all phishing, all clipboard attacks, all fake websites, all malicious downloads, all persistence techniques, all zero-day threats, all targeted attacks, or all unsafe user actions.

Granny_Kate is not a substitute for safe computing habits, family communication, bank safeguards, operating-system updates, antivirus protection, password hygiene, multi-factor authentication, financial monitoring, trusted technical help, or professional incident response.

If you believe a computer has already been compromised, disconnect it from the internet, stop using it for banking or sensitive accounts, and seek qualified technical help.

7. User Responsibility

You are responsible for how Granny_Kate is installed, launched, maintained, and used. You are also responsible for keeping the computer, operating system, browser, and other security tools reasonably updated.

You agree not to misrepresent Granny_Kate as a guaranteed fraud shield, emergency service, law-enforcement product, bank protection product, or substitute for professional cybersecurity assistance.

If Granny_Kate produces a warning, the user remains responsible for deciding whether to close, delete, terminate, ignore, investigate, or otherwise respond to the item. Granny_Kate may help surface danger, but it cannot make every judgment for the user.

8. Elder, Family, and Caregiver Use

Granny_Kate is often purchased by one family member to help protect another. You agree to use Granny_Kate lawfully, ethically, and with appropriate consent where required.

Granny_Kate is for fraud protection, not covert monitoring. You may not use Granny_Kate to harass, control, stalk, spy on, intimidate, or unlawfully monitor another person.

If you install Granny_Kate on a computer used by another person, you are responsible for following applicable laws, household rules, consent requirements, and ethical obligations.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Granny_Kate only for lawful purposes. You may not:

10. Intellectual Property

Granny_Kate, including its software, detection design, interface, copy, documentation, website, demo materials, branding, names, marks, images, structure, and related intellectual property, is owned by XORD Systems LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international intellectual-property laws.

Granny_Kate is associated with US Patent App. 63/977,300. No license or ownership interest in any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, or proprietary technology is transferred to you except the limited product license expressly granted at purchase.

11. Software License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any checkout terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Granny_Kate for personal or household fraud-protection purposes on the licensed Windows PC.

This license does not allow resale, redistribution, sublicensing, commercial managed-service use, white-label use, competitive analysis for building a competing product, reverse engineering, or use outside the scope of the license purchased.

12. Updates and Changes

We may update Granny_Kate, change features, improve detection, remove unsafe behavior, modify the demo, change the website, or adjust product packaging over time.

We do not guarantee that every feature, detection method, interface element, file path, demo behavior, or payment option will remain unchanged indefinitely.

13. Support

Support is provided through support@xord.io. Response time is typically within 24 hours; complex technical cases may require up to 72 hours.

Support does not include emergency incident response, live computer repair, bank recovery, law-enforcement reporting, malware forensics, identity-theft remediation, or remote administration unless expressly agreed in writing.

14. Privacy

Your use of Granny_Kate is also governed by the Granny_Kate Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, what we do not collect, and how we handle data in the sensitive elder-fraud context.

By using Granny_Kate, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

15. Third-Party Services

Granny_Kate may rely on third-party services for payment processing, embedded video playback, hosting, email delivery, or download delivery. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party service outages, payment-processor decisions, embedded video platform behavior, browser behavior, operating-system prompts, or policies controlled by third parties.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Granny_Kate, the website, the demo, the fake-threat page, support materials, and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, complete security, complete fraud prevention, and complete threat detection.

No software can guarantee that an elder-fraud scam, social-engineering attack, malware infection, remote-access scam, phishing attempt, financial loss, or targeted manipulation will be prevented in every case.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, XORD Systems LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on Granny_Kate.

This includes, without limitation, damages for fraud losses, financial losses, identity theft, unauthorized access, malware infection, data loss, loss of profits, emotional distress, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms or related to Granny_Kate shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for Granny_Kate in the 12 months preceding the claim.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless XORD Systems LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your misuse of Granny_Kate, violation of these Terms, violation of law, unauthorized installation, misuse against another person, or infringement of third-party rights.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to downloads, support, license restoration, updates, or related services if you violate these Terms, misuse the product, engage in fraud, abuse support, attempt chargeback fraud, redistribute the software, or use Granny_Kate unlawfully.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute provisions.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms, Granny_Kate, the website, purchases, refunds, or support shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the website, demo, app, license, support, or related services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
